Jim and Jane (Lowman) Stevens of Emmetsburg were married on June 4, 1961, at First Methodist Church in Emmetsburg. The couple has always lived in Emmetsburg. Together they ran a successful family-owned business, Stevens' Plumbing & Heating.
They will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary this summer with their family. The couple has three surviving children: Becky Stevens Rutledge of Gilbert, AZ; Neal (Denise) Stevens of Omaha, NE; and Jason Stevens of Emmetsburg. They have six grandchildren: Amanda Rutledge, Caitlyn Stevens, Derek Rutledge, Makenna Stevens, Raegan Stevens, and Sienna Stevens.
