Howard and Debra (Naig) Gaster of Brooklyn were married on May 22, 1976, at 7:30 p.m. They vowed their love to each other at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ringsted.
The couple now works in Des Moines. They have two children: Dina (Scott) Hasty of Kanawaha, and Derek (Stephanie) Gaster of Burlington. They have seven grandchildren: Brandon Gaster, Clarissa Hasty, MacKenna Hasty, Carter Gaster, Kayla Hasty, Ethan Hasty, and Avery Gaster.
