Kenneth Andrew Henningsen was born Feb. 14, 2009 in Spencer to Curtis and Lorlen (Ursal) Henningsen. He was a beautiful, happy baby that quickly won the hearts of anyone around him, especially his parents and four older sisters.

Kenneth loved music from the time he was born and as he learned to talk he began to sing and dance. He loved going to church with his family and always said his prayers before bedtime.

Kenneth enjoyed the farm, playing with tractors and riding with his dad in the tractor and combine. He had just recently been asking when harvest was going to start. He could hardly wait. Kenneth loved to run outside playing with his dog, Buddy or going for a ride in his swing. One of his favorite things to do was to go swimming. He was a helpful big brother, after his sister, Chantel was born.

Kenneth passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at his home near Emmetsburg.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Elaine Henningsen.

He is survived by his loving parents and sisters, Curtis and Lorlen, Courtney (Brent), Sarah (Trevor), Dallas (Tyler), Kelsey and Chantel; his grandparents, Wilfredo and Gloria Ursal of Cebu, Philippines; aunts and uncles, Cheryl and Rev. Kyle Anderson, Craig and Janice Henningsen, Cynthia and Darrel Greifzu, Charles and Pat Henningsen, Lowela and Bill Neal, Geneses Ursal, Lelibeth and William Moneva and Brylle Ursal; several cousins; and many friends.
