Students, Staff Make A Difference

February 2, 2012
Emmetsburg News

To the Editor:

I attended the Catholic School Program Jan. 29 in Emmetsburg. The Preschool and Kindergarten opened the program and performed in voice and action. Sherry Bredehoeft and Jennifer Myers are the teachers who did a super job.

The 2nd through 6th presented "Are We There Yet," the Old Testament story of Moses leading the people to the Promised Land. The props included the Burning Bush, Crossing the Red Sea, Mt. Sinai, just to name a few. Mrs. Fog did an outstanding job of directing. She mentioned the students cooperation, even to standing on the risers for two hours in rehearsal.

Following the play the 7th and 8th graders joined the cast and together sang "Go Light Your World" and "Go Make a Difference" and we know they will do just that. Congratulations to the staff and students for the talents you have and we know that you will "light the world" and make a difference.
