Rodman Fire Dept. Fund Raiser

June 14, 2012
by Jane Whitmore , Emmetsburg News

"Hillbilly Day" in Rodman is an annual event to raise funds for the Rodman Fire Department. Kids games in the afternoon kicked off the event.

The day continued with a pork loin meal, rootbeer floats and snow cones before the auction began. Area businesses and individuals contributed items for the auction, which was conducted by auctioneer Ronald Peck of Algona. "Hillbilly Day" always draws a crowd.
