With the snowfall of this past Thursday bringing a White Christmas to the area, winners in the First Snowfall Contest were announced by General Manager Dan McCain.
"The official first inch of snowfall was measured on Dec. 20, and Terry Chamberlain of Emmetsburg was drawn as the winner of the grand prize," McCain said.
As the Grand Prize winner, Chamberlain won a 22" 2-stage Yard Machines snow thrower, donated by Wentzel's True Value Farm & Home. Winning Emmetsburg Publishing Company Travel Bags were David Cole and Terry Neary, both of Emmetsburg.
