RUTHVEN - The Titan girls of Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire came up shy in a 54-46 loss to Trinity Christian Friday night.
GT/RA led 13-12 after one quarter, but trailed 23-20 at the intermission. At the end of the third quarter, Trinity led 41-32 before taking the eight-point, 54-46 victory from the Titans.
GT/RA was led by Brooke Hoffman's 18 point effort, while Grace Skattebo added 11 points and 10 boards for the double-double.
Lauren Flaharty added nine points to the effort, while Morgan McGrauth came away with five points and Emily Moran chipped in three points. Marly Bakken would collect 12 rebounds defensively for the Titans, who fall to 5-13 overall and 3-5 in the Cornbelt Conference race.
