The Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce's BAD?Golf outing is being termed a huge success by Chamber Executive Director Deb Hite.
"We had 15 teams play in the tournament, with 69 golfers,"?Hite noted. "That's 20 more golfers than played in last year and we're very pleased with the turnout."
The Jensvold Motors team of Jr. Walker, Troy Lavrenz, Ben Hofstad and Ken Smith won the event with a 28.
Second place honors went to the Laurens State Bank team of Marc Riley, Terry Latham, Dean Lallier and Joe Noonan with a 29.
The Fareway/Gramowski team of Nick Casey, Corey Gramowski, Tony Kauten and Casey Ahrendsen shot a 32 to finish in third place overall.
Fourth place went to the Frevert Family Team of Doc Frevert, Greg Sween and Clayton Freeman with a 33.
Winning the First flight was Food Pride and the team of Randy Joersz, Kort Rouh, Kent Wegner and Taylor Wegner.
Second Flight winner was Iowa Lakes Community College and the team of Steve Olerich, Cal Christensen, Bill Goodlaxson and Neal Williamsen.
The Longest Drive for women award went to Pam Hartman, while the Longest Drive for men prize went to Marc Riley.
Winning the Womens' Longest Putt was Jennifer Myers and the Longest Putt for men went to Tony Kauten.
