Absentee ballots are now available at the Palo Alto County Auditor's Office for the school election to be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013.
Persons who are disabled or are going to be absent on election day may vote an absentee ballot at the County Auditor's Office or request an absentee ballot through the mail. Requests by mail must be on the Official Absentee Ballot Request Form available at the County Auditor's Office. The County Auditor's Office is open from 8am to 4pm. Absentee voting is available at the Auditor's Office from 8 to 11 a.m. on Election Day.
The last day to pre-register to vote for the school election is Friday Aug. 30.
If you have moved please call the Auditor's Office at 712-852-2924 to get your address changed and to avoid waiting in line at the polls.
The polls will be open on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 12 Noon to 8 p.m.
