Penny Carnival Kicks Off National 4-H Week October 6-12

Palo Alto County will begin National 4-H Week with our annual Penny Carnival on Sunday, Oct. 6th, from 3:00-4:30 PM at the 4-H Exhibits Building at the Palo Alto County Fairgrounds in Emmetsburg.

The Penny Carnival is open to all 4-H memers, families and friends and features carnival-type games sponsored by the 4-H clubs of the county.

Aditionally, the Palo Alto County 4-H County Youth Council will provide concessions during the event.

A highlight of the event will be the selection of the Penny Carnival King and Queen, who eill be crowned during the event.

The Penny Carnival serves as the kick off for the national observance of 4-H Week, a celebration of the history and the future of 4-H.
