Emmetsburg's Lady E-Hawks dropped a Lakes Conference volleyball match to LeMars by a 3-0 tally Tuesday night. Game scores were 11-25, 12-25, 14-25.
On Tuesday night, the Lady E-Hawks were led by Tegan Olson with six of seven serves and eight of 13 hits with four kills. Taylor Knight added four of five serves and made nine of 11 hits with five kills and added two digs.
Kate Jackson would complete six of seven serves and made six of six hits with two kills while digging out five shots. Kendall Deitering came away with seven of seven serves, and then made 10 of her 11 hits, while digging out three shots and handing out six assists.
Teammate Sarah Pugh completed seven of seven serves as well and made three digs, while also handing out six assists to her teammates.
Michaela Rehm would come away with six of six serve completions, while making one hit and digging out 10 shots in her libero player role.
Rounding out the action was Bailey Naig, who made seven of nine hits with one kill and had a solo block at the net.
Emmetsburg will travel to Estherville this Saturday morning to play in the Estherville Lincoln Central tournament.
Emmetsburg is in Pool B, which includeds Harris-Lake Park, Storm Lake and Humboldt. Pool A in the tournament includes Sioux City West, Laurens-Marathon, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire and the host Estherville Lincoln Central squad.
Pool play begins at 9 a.m. Saturday and will continue through the day.
