HUMBOLDT Emmetsburg's E-Hawks earned a sixth place finish at Friday's Charlie Bunn Relays in Humboldt, and once again, received a first-place individual effort from senior Allen Jensen in the process.
In his third outing of the season, Jensen captured top honors in the 100 meter dash, turning in an :11.22 clocking, and then came back to win the 110 high hurdles with a time of :15.19.
The E-Hawks also captured top honors in the 4x100 relay, as they bested the field with a time of :45.72. Emmetsburg's Distance Medley relay would earn a second place finish, turning in a time of 3:57.34.

Shay Mortenson would finish third overall in the 400 meter dash, turning in a time of :55.16, while Nick Grandstaff took fourth place in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:09.26 and fifth in the1600 meter run with a 5:09.03. AJ Krieg earned a fifth place finish in the long jump, as he came away with a leap of 17'6" in the event.
Brandon Elbert would finish sixth in the 110 high hurdles with a time of :17.41, while the 4x400 relay took sixth with its' time of 4:14.93 and the 4x800 relay earned sixth place with a time of 9:59.19. Zach Anderson placed seventh in the 400 meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:05.85 and Aaron Hutchison earned a ninth place finish in the 400 meter dash with his 1:00.12 clocking. Alex DeFord earned ninth place in the high jump, clearing 5' while Nick Jackson placed ninth in the shot put, throwing 37'4" and Wes Schultes would earn tenth place in the long jump with a leap of 15'5". Brandon Elbert took tenth place in the 400 meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:09.45.
Aaron Bird would earn a tenth place finish in the100 meter dash with his time of :12.06, while Thomas Schultes finished the 200 meter dash in :26.75 for 11th place.
Pat Brennan made a throw of 36'4" in the shot put to finish in 11th place, while Nick Chapman finished 12th in the discus with a throw of 94'8", while Daniel VanOosbree placed 12th in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:47.00. In the 800 meter run, Jas Jamison earned 12th place with a 2:39.69 and Max Hadabank placed 13th with his time of 2:44.01. Pat Brennan placed 13th in the discus with a throw of 89'3" to close out the varsity results.
For the E-Hawk Junior Varsity, Aaron Hutchison took first place in the 200 meter dash with a time of :25.87 and Max Hadabank earned first in the 400 meter dash with his time of :59.71 and took first place in the long jump, leaping 17'3/4". Nick Jackson finished second in the discus with a throw of 93'6" and Dalton Connelly was second in the 400 hurdles with a 1:08.20.
The JV 4x400 relay earned a fourth place finish with a time of 4:16.69 and the 4x200 relay also placed fourth with its time of 1:47.09. Carson Clark finished fourth in the 1600 meter run, turning in a time of 5:32.91 and AJ Krieg earned fifth place honors in the 100 meter dash with a time of :12.35. Nick Chapman finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 35'8" and Dalton Hauschen placed seventh in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:33.18 and seventh in the 1600 meters with a time of 6:13.11.
The JV 4x100 relay finished seventh with a time of :50.70 and Thomas Schultes placed eighth in the 100 meter dash with a :12.78 clocking. Austin Noll would finish tenth in the 200 meter dash with a time of :27.68, while Larry McAllister was 10th in the 400 meter dash with a 1:10.73 effort and then finished the 800 meter run in 3:08.79 to finish 11th.
