Masters Wins Graettinger Election

GRAETTINGER - Bruce Masters was the winner of a special election for a vacancy on the Graettinger City Council following a special election Tuesday.

Masters, a life-long resident and one of two declared candidates for the position, received 143 of the 190 votes cast in the election.

Joy Eloise Heller, the other candidate, collected 29 votes.

Kevin Hanson, who had been appointed to the vacancy until the election, received 15 write-in votes, while Brandon Armstrong received two write-in votes and Robert Rehm earned one write-in vote, according to the Palo Alto County Auditor's Office.
