"Without becoming a political discussion, I ask you this," said Ted Ellis of Emmetsburg. "If you do not have food, and more importantly hope, why would you not try to make the dangerous trip north to the United States? If you have nothing you are risking nothing."
Ellis suggests, "Perhaps if we provide some food and some how some hope, we can make a difference. Let's do this person to person and not as a government."

What have we done?
Over the past two years folks from Palo Alto County and the surrounding area have provided 240,000 meals for very needy people primarily in Honduras.
Why should we do it again?
The situation in Central America, especially Guatemala and Honduras, has not improved.
Join "Then Feed Just One" Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Palo Alto County fairgrounds in Emmetsburg.
Work an hour for a $30 donation or donate $30 for someone to have a great experience. Shifts are available from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
