Funeral service for Autumn Lynn Arends of Mallard will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmetsburg. Officiating will be Pastor Hugh from the United Methodist Church in Polk City.
Visitation is Friday, March 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmetsburg.
Autumn Lynn Arends was born Nov. 21, 1994. She passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD, where she had suffered several strokes. She was 22 years old.
Autumn graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 2013. She was involved in choir, cheerleading, show choir, band and FFA. Autumn went on to study at Iowa Lakes Community College in the Surgical Technologist program.
Autumn is survived by her fiance, Bobby Mammen, and her daughter, Madison Grace Mammen; parents, Susan and Dennis Robinson, Don Dellaca and Chet Hendrickson; siblings, Shaina Arends, Kailin Dellaca, Karli Dellaca, and Michael Hendrickson (Chelsi); Chuck and Kim Mammen; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to count.
Autumn was truly a hero. She was beloved by all. She spent her short life loving and caring for others.
