A former Emmetsburg prep will hit the courts in the NCAA's Womens' Final Four basketball tournament.
Alexa Naig, the daughter of Jeff and Tammy Naig of Emmetsburg, is a member of the University of St. Thomas (MN) that has earned a trip to the Womens' Final Four.
The Tommies of St. Thomas will be playing in Grand Rapids, MI, this weekend, where they enter the tournament trail ranked second overall in NCAA Dvision III, which is comprised of over 400 colleges.

Naig, a six-foot center, is a sophomore who comes off the bench for the Tommies. In limited playing time this season, Naig has pulled down 11 rebounds, handed out one assist and blocked one shot.
