Hot Shots Shoot At Estherville

ESTHERVILLE - The Emmetsburg Hot Shots SCTP squad shot last Saturday in competition at Estherville. Despite limited numbers, the Hot Shots came away with solid scores as they prepare for this Saturday's Iowa Games Trapshoot at the Sportsmans' Park range.

In Rookies action, The Hot Shots tallied a team score of 147. Tate Joyce shot 38/50, while Garret Franker added 33/50, Austin Stokes shots 22/50, Nathan Adams shot 20/50 and Brice Rooney shot 34/50.

In the Rookie Individual shoot, Tate Joyces's 38/50 was good for second place, with Brice Rooney's 34/50 would earn him fourth place and Garret Franker placed sixth with 33/50.

Faith Biddle would shoot 14/50 to place second in the girls Rookie division.

For the Intermediates, Hot Shots Pop shot a 199. Jacob Frields shot 41/50, Carson Hoffman shot 35/50, Tyler Stokes shot 41/50, Bryce Cooke shot 44/50 and Esben Enriquez show 38/50.

Hot Shots Snap shot a 196 to finish third in the Intermediate division. Donald Strohman shooting 38/50, Cole Rouse shooting 29/50, Aurora Peters shooting 40/50, Matthew Berkland shooting 49/50 and Aaron Olson shooting 40/50.

Matthew Berkland was first Individual with 49/50, while Bryce Cooke took second with 44/50. Tyler Stokes was seventh with 41/50, Jacob Frields finished eighth with 41/50 and Aaron Olson placed 11th with 40/50.

In the girls Intermediate division, Aurora Peters placed third with 40/50 and Breanna Henricksen earned fourth place shooting 39/50.

In the senior/Varsity Individual competition, Hot Shots member Thomas Crocoll was 17th with 42/50, while Jon Lace was 19th with 42/50. Gavin Jorgenson was 22nd with 41/50 and Austin Bergstrom was 24th with 41/50.
