Sorenson Signs With Dordt

GRAETTINGER?- A senior member of the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans will continue her basketball career after graduation in May.

Anna Sorenson, a 5'10" forward for Coach Todd Hough's Titans, recently signed a letter of intent to play collegiate basketball for Dordt College in Sioux Center.

Sorenson, the daughter of Jon and Kari Sorenson of Graettinger, played in all 88 games of her high school career, starting in 69 of those contests during her four-year prep career.

In the 2017-18 season, Sorenson and the Titans compiled a 16-9 record, seeing their season ending in the Regional Semi-Finals.

During her prep career at Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, Sorenson amassed 293 points and connected on 17 three-point field goals. She grabbed 360 rebounds, dished out 93 assists, made 107 steals and blocked 24 shots.

Sorenson is also a All-Conference outfielder on the Titans Softball team and a State Qualifier for the GT/RA Girls Track team as well.

In choosing to attend Dordt College, Sorenson plans to major in Biology-Pre-Medicine while playing for the Defenders and Coach Kyle Lindbergh.
