Brown and Bowman Lead Emmetsburg at Invitational

Raven Brown and Cruz Bowman turned in the E-Hawks' best times at the PAC XC Invitational track meet last Saturday.

Brown ran a fifth best 21:32.94 in the Girls 5k. Hailey Foxhoven's 22:15.05 was good enough for ninth place. Isabel Householder posted a time of 23:25.82. Allison Fischer ran a 24:32.74, Raylene Poeppe turned in a 24:44.09 and Taylor Steinkamp clocked a 26:01.86.

In the Junior Varsity 5000, Jamie Bird ran a 26:33.13. Hannah Merwald ran a 29:49.00 and Maggie Nelson posted a 33:52.57.

In the Mixed 3200 Meter Run, Mattie Dooley posted Emmetsburg's best run with a time of 15:05.93. Isabel Doyle turned in a 15:56.10. Saige Brown ran a 16:16.13. Taytum Sargent clocked a 16:29.23, Ashleigh Petersen ran a 16:41.77, Allyson Thompson posted a 17:19.68 and Katie Nelson ran a 19:39.53.

In the Men 3200 Run, Gavin Swift ran a 14:08.39, Ben Merwald of the running Merwalds ran a 16:01.68, Brady Andersen posted a 16:08.63 and Lucian Benjamin clocked a 19:46;46.

The E-Hawks took home first place in team times. Emmetsburg's total team time for the Varsity 5000 was 1:53:26.85 with a team average of 22:41.37.

In the Boys 5k, Bowman came in sixth with a time of 18:20.32. Kelly Griffin notched a time of 19:51.99. Isaac Janssen posted a 20:02.93. Cade Jacobson ran a 20:1.18. Adam Deitering clocked a 20:54.51, Gauje Hayenga ran a 20:59.71 and Alex Laubenthal rounded out the E-Hawks' effort with a time of 23:11.84.

In the Junior Varsity 5000, Jacob Frields claimed fourth place with a time a of 21:03.45. J Morlock-Hackbart ran a 23:45.01; Jordan Ruff was right behind, clocking a 23:53.20. Jackson Lowman completed Emmetsburg's effort with a time of 28:54.12.
