E-Hawks Victorious Over Cougars in Boy/Girl Double Header

The E-Hawks were on the road on Thursday, January 11 when they traveled to Manson-NW Webster in a boy/girl double header to come out victorious in both games.

The E-Hawks ladies won with a final score of 65 to 32.

The top three scorers for the E-Hawks were in double digits. Makenzie King had top score with 18 forllowed by Molly Schany with 15 and Abbie Schany with 10.

Five other players added points to the final score. Raven Brown with 6, Lindsay Carter, Cheyanne Fries and Gretchen Hofstad each had 5 and Baylee Lundgren added 3 points.

For Manson-NW Webster, Briley Condon was high scorer with 7 points, followed by Bailey Kenyon and Chloe Troshunski each added 5 points.

Savannah Michalski and Sadelle Snell added 4 points each. While Sophie Hertzberg had 3 points and Natalie Pearson and Sarah Peters had 2 points each.

The men also brought home a victory with a final score of 54 to 43.

Ben Dunlap was hot on the net with a high score of 21 points followed Tim Geelan, who also shot great with a score of 18 points. Rounding out the top three scorers was Clayton Swanson with 5 points. Adding to the final score was, Colby Weir with 4 points, Connor Joyce and Corbin Saathoff each with 3 points and Zach Foxhoven added 2 points.

Two of Manson-NW Webster players scored in double digits. High scorer was Kaden Hanson with 12 points followed by Brian Pearson with 10 points. Rounding out the top three scorers was Riley Peters with 8.

Four other players added points to the final score.

Dawson Estergaard with 6 points, Derek Girard with 3 points and Austin Anliker and Sean Peters each added 2 points.

The E-Hawks with play at home on Tuesday, January 14 in a boy/girl double header, when they take on the Rebels of Sioux Central at Emmetsburg.

The E-Hawks will have another home game on Thursday, January 17, when they take on the Midgets of Estherville Lincoln Central at Emmetsburg.
