Donation Helps Lake Restoration Move Forward

Iowa Trust & Savings Bank has generously donation of $5,000 toward the Watershed Improvement Management Plan for Five Island Lake, Lost Island Lake, and Silver Lake. Kyle Ament, Iowa DNR Watershed Coordinator, along with several county entities, lake associations, local residents, and the Soil and Water Conservation District has applied for a grant of $75,000 to address the high phosphorus levels and land management practices within these watersheds.
