The Emmetsburg Public Library recently purchased a Lulzbot Mini 3-D printer at a cost of $1,500, with funding received through the Iowa State Library for the Enrich Iowa Program.

The 3-D printer is not something that is found easily within the general public. According to Emmetsburg Public Library Director Nathan Clark, area schools have 3-D printers but the one at the library is the only one around the area including quite a ways out of the county.
