According to Sandy Henderson, "they are telling us that it will be open."

As of Monday, Aug. 26, the last bit of concrete was being poured. All that remains is the grouting, landscaping, and some cleanup work and should be finished by Wednesday, Aug. 28.

The Robins Street project began on April 24 this year and with the rains and a few other setbacks, completion is in sight.

The estimated cost of the entire project is $1.7 million. The City of Graettinger received a 10-year, no interest loan through River Valley Telephone Telecommunications in the amount of approximately $875,000. Graettinger Municipal Utilities gave $235,000 for new street lamps, leaving slightly over $800,000.
