WEST DES MOINES -- Wild Rose Entertainment announced that all Wild Rose Casino and Resort locations in Iowa (Clinton, Emmetsburg, and Jefferson) closed at 12 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in compliance with the State of Public Health Disaster Emergency issued by Gov. Kim Reynolds.

The announcement made by Gov. Reynolds calls for the temporary closure of all casinos, dine-in restaurants, theaters, gyms, and other recreational facilities through March 31, 2020.

"The safety and well-being of all of our guests, employees and their families has always been and continues to be our foremost priority", said Tom Timmons, President and CEO of Wild Rose Entertainment. "This is an unprecedented situation and it's important we come together and do what it takes to limit the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus".

The measures taken by Gov. Reynolds follows similar actions enacted in other states.

Wild Rose Entertainment will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation with health officials and governing bodies. Wild Rose encourages guests to keep up with the latest information and health guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (www.CDC.gov) and Iowa Department of Public Health (www.idph.iowa.gov).
