Daniel "Frank" Bramley was born on March 2, 1931 to Joseph and Ollie (Fox) Bramley in Arion, Iowa.
On May 20, 1953, Frank was inducted in the United States Army where he served his country during the Korean War until his honorable discharge on May 26, 1955. He was united in marriage to Anita Lenore Backstrom. Together, they had three children: Lyle, Kelli Jo, and Terri.
Frank passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023 at Bickford Senior Living in Sioux City, Iowa, attaining the age of 91 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lyle Bramley; daughter, Kelli Jo Bramley; siblings: Richard Bramley, Vida Krough, Sally Morgan, Ruth Harson, Eugene Bramley, and James Bramley.
He is survived by his daughter, Terri Podkovich of Sioux City; two granddaughters: Bobbie Sue and Patricha; one grandson, Lewis; 2 great-grandsons; 2 adopted great-grandsons; sister, Charlotte Morey of West Bend; brother, Ronald Bramley of Mason City; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
