One of Dave’s most notable broadcasts was covering the United Airlines Flight 232 crash.

Dave was a faithful and devoted member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Emmetsburg where, as a lay minister, he led many Sunday worship services. He and Judy loved traveling domestically and internationally and both had great pride in their Irish heritage.
