PONTOON GIVEAWAY -- Northland Auto & Marine in Emmetsburg, in partnership with KFMC radio out of Fairmont, MN, held a pontoon giveaway on Saturday. Beginning at 4:00 p.m, hopeful participants registered for the drawing, which was held shortly after 6:00 p.m. Many were on hand for the chance to win the prize valued at over $16,000. While the boat would ultimately go to Terry Matson of Fairmont, a couple of lucky Emmetsburg residents were drawn for consolation prizes. "What a great turnout," said Tony Grandgenett, Owner (pictured above). "A lot of new faces came out to see our place and that's what this was all about - bringing people into the doors to check us out and get to know us.
